EW 2903 (HSA, BHAC, SFGH) HSA:The 2903 worker helps to initiate benefits enrollment for a variety of programs. RAMS worker SFGH: Performs a variety of technical duties in the screening, determination of patient eligibility, and enrollment for medical coverage. The eligibility worker with this classification is cannot enroll clients in HPE.
EW 2905 (HSA)
Health Advocates A privately funded public advocacy company in California providing Eligibility and Recovery services to California public health systems, private hospitals, clinics, health plans, government agencies, and individuals. They identify medical coverage from sources such as Medi-Cal, Social Security (SSI/SSDI), and other health insurance programs to minimize uncompensated care to the benefit of both hospitals and clients they serve. In terms of services related to Medi-Cal, they assist with enrollments , and in t er - county transfers through on-site case managers that work with patients at bedside.

Behavioral Health Access Center

Position Description

Clinician (BHAC) BHAC has a variety of mental health professionals on their staff including psychiatrists.

SEW 2908 (SFGH) Undergeneral supervision, performs financial and enrollment for medical coverage, and Medicare to maximize hospital reimbursements, and facilitates patient care. Within ZSFG and Medi-Cal context, 2908 SEW processes Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (HPE) Medi-Cal Applications for clients.
